Uh…pdate
So I just logged back in for the first time in 10 weeks. I have time to waste now. But I shouldn’t. So I don’t know if I will. (continue tumblr) But I probably will. Or, just until school starts again.
I had an amazing first term. I am certain that Carleton is the perfect school for me.
I had an absolutely wonderful freshman seminar. I had my first real fall. I got out of my comfort zone and explored. I joined an a cappella group and found out I could sing. I met people so amazing that I can’t properly articulate how amazing they are. I didn’t have to go to a barbershop (thanks, Philip). I slept 10 hours a day. I grew some balls.
Now I have a six week break that ends January 3. I don’t really know what to do with myself. Brush-up studying, reading, running, biking, relaxing?
There’s a two week slump until most start their winter breaks and come home. I’m excited to see friends again, but it’s an odd feeling. Can’t quite describe. Or, can and am too lazy. Hm.
I am pleased with SoCal weather, but to be honest, I miss the cold. I’m sure I will change my mind when I go back for winter term, but I was really diggin’ the 20some degree weather before I left. Snow is beautiful.
I’m happy to be home. There’s nothing like a home-cooked meal (or In-N-Out, Molca Salsa, etc.).
I’m looking forward to winter term. I miss parts of Carleton already.
Life will probably be moderately monotonous for the next two weeks. And then I will have so much fun, I won’t want to leave.
I should probably be productive.
I’ll start my dream log again.
I would like to like a girl. Not necessarily during this break. Just sometime. That would be nice.
